What is a Sharing Session?
This isn’t a workshop or a webinar. It’s something simpler—and more human. We start each session with a simple prompt: “What I feel like saying is…” That’s it. No pressure to be positive. No expectation to be profound. Just whatever’s real for you in the moment. This practice has been used for years in coaching and group work to help people land, feel present, and connect—not just with others, but with themselves.
Why It Matters
If you live with a chronic health condition, disability, or ongoing pain, you already know how exhausting it can be to carry unspoken emotions and invisible struggles. These sessions offer a place to:
- Speak without interruption or judgment
- Be witnessed without needing to explain
- Reconnect with your inner voice in the company of others who get it
Psychological research backs this up:
- Naming what we’re feeling helps us regulate and release emotion
- Being seen and heard supports healing and builds resilience
- Sharing our truth (even briefly) opens the door to new ways of seeing and being
This is not about advice or solutions. It’s about creating space for what’s real, and from there—what might be possible.
