Tough times call for tough choices and decisions. The experience of overwhelm or shut-down is a Thing. Where do we help out? When do we pull back? How do we assign importance to our priorities, time, resources and attention. Over time we can lose perspective and focus, or even bail out of caring.
This session offers an intentional pause to discover what really matters in hard times. We inquire into how we care without needing to fix, explain, avoid or rush…There are no marbles-in-jars, no strategies for time-savings or management. Instead, it is time to attend and focus on:
- individual and collective matters
- our go-to habits, reactions and practices in hard times.
This conversation is for you if you care and:
- Anxiety or confusion can out-compete hope and commitment
- Frustration, fatigue, resignation or numbness are increasingly common
- You don’t want more tips, tools, strategies or apps to manage
- You are a coach, facilitator, changemaker, leader or activist.
You will experience a 1.5-hour community of practice, online. Questions, self-reflection and connection drive collective sense-making from shared stories. You will leave with a sense of your care-time matrix. You may experience freedom in choosing to be the one that lives and breathes care and expands it in the world through compassion-in-action. This is not therapy, a seminar, or a problem-solving session. This is an inquiry into the focal point of what matters to Human Being.
