Engenesis is out to cause a paradigm shift in entrepreneurship over the next 500 years.

We believe that entrepreneurship is uniquely positioned to make a great difference in the world.

Although politics, religion and academia have played major roles in the last millennia, we believe entrepreneurship has a major role now in carving the future.

This is why we are passionate about causing a new level of performance for entrepreneurs who want to make a difference in the world and build companies fast. Engenesis is a venture builder in the technology arena. We build, launch, take to market and grow new tech companies.

The way we do this is by building infrastructure and intellectual property that many companies can use to grow in parallel. Some of these companies are generated internally whilst others are created in partnership with other forward-thinking founders.

What is a Venture Builder?

Venture building is parallel entrepreneurship.

Rather than building companies one by one, Venture Builders create infrastructure that their many companies can leverage to establish themselves and grow faster, leaner and with less risk. This allows them to build and grow many businesses at once.

Although ventures builders share the similar mission to support the growth of startup businesses, a venture builder differs from an incubator or accelerator. Incubators started in 1959 as communal places and groups business owners could meet and support each other in business. They often take the form of co-working spaces today.

Accelerators arose in the 2000’s and took the approach of assessing many potential startups and providing a select few with funding and networks to grow. The particular difference is that accelerators focus on providing education and funding, while venture builders focus on infrastructure or resources to grow businesses faster.

Although there are approximately 150 venture builders globally, only 3 currently exist in Australia.
